NHER Training - keep your skills sharp

With rapid advances in energy efficiency, it's a challenge to keep up to date. You just can't get all the knowledge from books and relying on practical experience. NHER training helps you keep pace with these changes.

The next challenge in the roll out of EPCs is in the commercial sector. Unlock a new revenue stream by becoming a Commercial Energy Assessor for non domestic buildings. Training is available for Level 3 assessments and an upgrade to Level 4 from Level 3 .

Our Domestic Energy Assessor course will enable you to issue Energy Performance Certificates for existing homes as part of the Home Information Pack, or for the private and social rented sectors which come into place on 1 October 2008.

Our two-day RDSAP Data Collection course is specifically aimed at those working in the rented dwellings sector, including private rental, Housing Associations and Local Authorities.

Public buildings over 1,000m2 and occupied or part-occupied by public authorities (or by institutions or organisations providing public services) will require a Display Energy Certificate by 1 October - these can only be produced by a qualified Public Building Energy Assessor.

The On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor course has been designed for those wishing to calculate SAP ratings, undertake Building Regs Part L1A compliance checks, produce the Predicted Energy Assessment and Energy Performance Certificate for new dwellings.

Our Changes to Existing Dwellings course for On Construction DEAs is ideal for those considering undertaking work for developers completing improvements, building extensions and changing the use of properties, this course covers the complexities of demonstrating compliance to Part L1B of the Building Regulations.

If you're already a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor, find out what CPD opportunities are available to you.

Already in training to become Domestic Energy Assessor? Don't forget, as an NHER Candidate there are several templates and documents to assist with your portfolio available inside the Candidate Area.

Our NES one Explained course is ideal if you have recently joined the NHER Accreditation Scheme after having trained elsewhere and now need to use the NES one system.

Make your training budget go further. If you have a number of staff who require similar training, you could get more for your money with a uniquely tailored in-company training programme that addresses your team's particular needs.

To discuss your training needs, please contact the team on 01908 442111.
